If you are someone who likes to wear mascara & loves the look of thick, dark eyelashes, but doesn’t necessarily want the “eyeliner” effect, this treatment is for you!
It is a much more subtle effect, yet still makes a big difference in making your eyes look bigger & eyelashes appear thick & luscious!
Does it hurt?
As with all tattooing there will always be some level of discomfort, which is somewhat dependent on the individual’s own pain threshold.
However there are topical Anaesthetics that can be used before and during the treatment that make the discomfort very minimal, and is usually described as feeing like vibrations or an electric toothbrush being held against the skin.
How long will a permanent eyelash enhancement last?
This varies from person to person & is dependent on the specific shade used. The pigments used for permanent eyeliner and lash enhancement procedures are slightly different to those used in brow treatments. Most colours last 3-5 years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years.
Periodic touchups are recommended to maintain the desired look & colour.
What if I don’t like the result?
This particular procedure is so subtle it is unlikely anyone will even notice you’ve had something done.
If however you still don’t like it after you’ve had your 6 week top-up & it’s fully healed, you can have laser tattoo removal. But this will usually cost more than the original treatment & can be very painful!
Ultimately, this is a tattoo procedure, and although permanent makeup is designed to look very natural, you should not make the decision lightly!
